Case Review

Original writing · hindsight review · anchored in known history, viewed through chart structure

Fire at 3 tempers Metal; Eating God in the year pillar signifies extraordinary intellect, and Seven Killings in the month pillar signifies the vagaries of fate. Looking back on Turing proposing the Turing machine and breaking the Enigma code: the Eating God is the genius conception of the “computing machine,” and the Seven Killings is the cruelty of a wartime hero persecuted for his sexuality and dying young. This reflects that structure.

In 2013 he finally received a royal pardon and history set the record straight; fire refines true gold, and his ideas still illuminate the computer age — this may be read here.

This is a retrospective cross-cultural comparison, not a definitive claim.
