Three questions to ask yourself
- “一朝無事忽遭官” — if this line were a painting, where would you be standing in it?
- “也是門衰墳未安” — what is harder to let go of here: the outcome, or the process?
- “勸君莫作等閒看” — what is the smallest thing you could do for it today?
About this set
A folk collection of fortune-stick poems named after Guan Yu, the Three Kingdoms general; this site only explains the text. 100 in all. The four-line verses often speak of timing, advancing and holding back. Grades range from 大吉 (very auspicious) to 下下 (lowest).
The poems are traditional folk texts in the public domain, checked against several published versions. The ink paintings are drawn by the site from each poem's imagery. For cultural entertainment only — it can't predict the future and isn't advice of any kind. MoZhu is not affiliated with any temple or religious organization.
