Three questions to ask yourself
- Reading “朝朝役役恰如蜂”, who or what comes to mind first?
- “飛來飛去西復東” — which part of this is already in your hands?
- “此身不戀舊叢中” — if you gave yourself a deadline, when would it be?
About this set
A folk collection of fortune-stick poems named after Guanyin; this site only explains the text. It is the most widely known set, 100 in all. Most verses are four lines of seven characters, graded upper, middle or lower, and each is often paired with a story from history or opera.
The poems are traditional folk texts in the public domain, checked against several published versions. The ink paintings are drawn by the site from each poem's imagery. For cultural entertainment only — it can't predict the future and isn't advice of any kind. MoZhu is not affiliated with any temple or religious organization.
