Three questions to ask yourself
- “鸞鳳翎毛雨壓垂” — which situation in your life does this line bring to mind?
- “此時應被雀輕欺” — in that situation, what matters most to you, and what would you hate to lose?
- “依舊還教振羽衣” — if you could take only one small step first, which would it be?
About this set
A folk collection of fortune-stick poems named after Guanyin; this site only explains the text. It is the most widely known set, 100 in all. Most verses are four lines of seven characters, graded upper, middle or lower, and each is often paired with a story from history or opera.
The poems are traditional folk texts in the public domain, checked against several published versions. The ink paintings are drawn by the site from each poem's imagery. For cultural entertainment only — it can't predict the future and isn't advice of any kind. MoZhu is not affiliated with any temple or religious organization.
